Conducting comparative research between Sweden and Canada does not only add a dimension to my own dissertation work but also better prepares me for my future career in health human resource research. I am very grateful for the support of Dr. Bourgeault and her team and everyone at the Faculty of Health in making this research visit a wonderful experience for me."

Lisa's visit is funded by a scholarship from Sasakawa Young Leadership Foundation, which aims to identify and nurture leaders who will overcome differences such as nationality, language, ethnicity, religion, and political systems to tackle global issues.
